Kitesurf en Wingsurf Repairs
Nothing is more frustrating than being unable to hit the water because your gear is damaged. You’ve had it repaired, only to find out it wasn’t done properly. This is exactly what Hans Lieben experienced about 15 years ago. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands and became the first repair specialist working with official & original materials. Kitereparatie.com was born, and soon after, the repair services merged with a physical and online store under the name kitesurfshop.nl!

Today, kitesurfshop.nl has grown into one of the best kite and wingsurf repair specialists in the Netherlands—and kiters from Germany, Belgium, and even Bonaire are starting to discover our expertise. :) Below, you can read more about our kite & wing repair services.
A lot can happen to your kitesurf and wingsurf gear. Below, you’ll find what applies to your situation. Don’t see your specific issue listed? Just give us a call or send a message—we’ll have the answer!

🔹 Repair Cost Overview

1.a) My kite or wing has a tear in the fabric. Can it be fixed?
A frequently asked question—and the answer is YES, we can repair your kite!
We use the same material and preserve prints/graphics as much as possible. In most cases, you won’t even notice the repair, and it won’t affect your performance on the water.
1.b) What is a Pinhole?
A pinhole is a tiny hole (1-2 mm), often only visible when holding your kite/wing up to the light. They can be caused by shells, sand, or other elements. It’s best to repair them or patch them yourself with Tear-Aid. You can ride with a pinhole, but fixing it prevents it from turning into a tear after a hard crash.
Pro tip: Always carry a Tear-Aid repair kit with you!

2) My kite is losing air!
Sometimes, you notice it after an hour; other times, it’s immediate.
A deflated kite/wing loses its shape and becomes unrideable. Leaky bladders, faulty valves, or dried-out material are common issues we fix daily.

3) Are my bar lines still good?
Kite lines endure extreme tension during sessions—that’s why they’re made from specialized materials. But they’re not indestructible. Friction from looping, sand in your safety system, or knots all affect your bar’s performance.
We stock replacement parts for brands like North, Core, Duotone, Harlem, Naish, and more—from lines to trim cleats, chicken loops to inserts. Message us, and we’ll help you out!

4) Damage to the board?
A moment of distraction, and your board flips over—or you land on it with your harness. These are just two of many ways damage happens. Dents, holes, and cracks in kiteboards, surfboards, or wingboards can be repaired. We work with a specialist who professionally restores them.

5) Can I get my gear checked before vacation?
Regular gear checks are a must—they prevent accidents for you and others. Think of it as an APK inspection, but for your kite/wingsurf gear!
We check:
✅ Kites/Wings: Pinholes, tears, valves, bridles, weak spots
✅ Bars: Line lengths, line damage, safety loop

6) No immediate repair needed?
After assessing the damage, we’ll give you an accurate price estimate. For a general cost overview, you can download the price list here. Questions? We’re available by phone, chat, or in-store!
