The Flux V2 Ultra-X takes Ozone's performance freeride shape and rebuilds it around a full Aluula leading edge and strut. Made for riders who want speed and fluid, advanced manoeuvres, it shares its outline with the standard Flux V2 but gets a thinner leading edge and strut, a new seam layout, a larger repositioned window and taut trailing-edge battens. The canopy is Teijin TechnoForce triple ripstop.

The weight saving is most noticeable when the wing is flagged out or depowered, where it barely registers in your hands. That makes pumping more efficient, gets you on foil earlier in light wind, helps it drift on a wave and adds control on landings and in strong gusts. At cruising speed it feels much like the regular V2, so the Ultra-X makes the most sense in the larger sizes or for riders who often sail in a lighter breeze.
