The Edge VT Ultra-X takes the same shape as the Edge VT and builds it with premium materials for riders chasing every last bit of performance. Its leading edge and struts are made entirely from Aluula, and the leading edge diameter is slimmed down even further than on the standard version. A lighter double ripstop canopy completes the package, resulting in a noticeably lighter kite across the 7 to 18 m size range.
Less weight and a stiffer frame translate into a kite that reacts the moment you move the bar and keeps its shape under heavy load. It climbs upwind efficiently, responds instantly when you send it for a big jump and hangs in the sky for a long time on the way down. Thanks to the low weight it also stays airborne and flies well when the wind starts to drop.
