From First Ride to Co-Owner: Bob’s Journey
In 2010 I stepped onto the water for the first time with a used North Vegas 10m kite from @ollie_the_surfer. One session was all it took — I was completely hooked. What started as a hobby quickly turned into an obsession, and I never imagined it would one day become my job.
But as of June 1st, I’m officially a co-owner of Kitesurfshop Haarlem.
Over the past months, I’ve been working closely with Hans, Emiel, and Sebas — an amazing team that shares the same drive and vision. Together, we’re ready to take the shop to the next level.
Because this is more than just a kiteshop. We’re building a community. A place to connect, learn, and share the stoke. Expect demo days, downwinders, clinics, knowledge nights, and good vibes after sessions.
We’ve got big plans and we’re just getting started.
Come by the shop sometime — The beers will be cold!
See you on the water!
