The Enduro V5 Ultra-X shares its shape with the regular Enduro V5, a three-strut mid-aspect kite that handles freeriding, jumping, waves and foiling equally well. In the Ultra-X version the airframe is made from Aluula and the canopy uses a lighter 46 g cloth, bringing the overall weight down by roughly 17 percent compared to the standard model. It is aimed at intermediate and advanced riders who want one kite for many disciplines.
The stiffer, lighter frame keeps the wingtips in shape when gusts hit, which gives the kite a crisp, precise turn and a direct connection through the bar. It climbs upwind with little effort and offers lots of lift and hangtime for its class. With Variable Bridle Geometry you can adjust the feel from lighter and quicker for waves to firmer and poppier for unhooked tricks.
