The Base V3 is Ozone's entry-level freeride twintip, made for riders who have just left the school board behind and want a board they can keep using as their skills develop. Available in six sizes from 128 to 148 cm, there is a version for lighter and heavier riders alike, and it comes ready to go with fins and a handle.

A double concave hull channels water under the board to give a smooth, controlled ride and helps you hold your line upwind without fighting the edge. The tips are tapered to cut down on spray in your face, so you can keep your eyes on the kite and the water ahead. With a Paulownia wood core and a fibreglass layup, the Base offers a comfortable, forgiving flex that takes the sting out of chop and makes landing your first jumps less of a shock.
